Suzie Explores Berlin is a unique opportunity to explore and channel your creativity and discover new ways of listening, performing and connecting.

Since 2024, Suzie’s retreats have created a rare space for musicians, artists and creatives to experiment, take risks, play, listen and grow. In April 2027, we’re returning to Berlin, where it all began. It feels particularly special to be bringing Suzie Explores back to this extraordinary creative hub of a city.

Join Suzie for three interactive days exploring active listening, performance, composition, movement, collaboration and creativity, both in music and in everyday life.

Approach your instrument in a completely different way. Hear music with fresh ears. Move outside your comfort zone. Create something you never expected to make, and perhaps find a new perspective on a creative challenge you’ve been wrestling with for years!

There’ll also be plenty of opportunity to play, experiment and connect beyond the formal sessions, with a daily jam session for anyone who wants to join in.

Curious minds, open ears

Suzie Explores Berlin is open to 50 participants aged 18 and over. We welcome professional musicians, amateurs, artists working in different disciplines, people who used to make music and want to find their way back to it, and those who simply love music and want to understand it more deeply. 

We’ve kept the retreat fee of £645 as accessible as possible. Accommodation and meals are not included, giving you the freedom to choose where and how you want to experience Berlin. After-hours jam sessions may take you into bars, restaurants and open spaces across the city!

Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, you’ll leave with new ideas, new connections and a fresh perspective on your creativity.

Is there an age limit?

The retreat is open to anyone aged 18 years and over.

How much does the retreat cost?

Suzie Explores Retreat costs £645. Credit cards may charge additional fees for the transaction.

What does my entry ticket include?

Your entry ticket includes access to all of the Suzie Explores Retreat sessions. Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and meals.

What is the payment process for the retreat?

If your registration is confirmed, a payment link will be provided.

When will I know if my registration was successful?

We will let you know as soon as we can, but the timeline may vary due to volume of applications. We will aim to notify you within 14 days.

Can I bring a guest?

Each attendee must register individually. We plan for maximum capacity and cannot allow additional guests into the space.

Should I bring a musical instrument?

You are most welcome to bring a portable acoustic musical instrument to the retreat, however, a musical instrument is not necessary to enjoy the full retreat experience.

Can I record audio or video during the sessions?

You’re welcome to record brief clips of up to 30 seconds to post, share, or keep during the retreat. However, we kindly ask that no long audio or video recordings of the sessions be made.

Are there any rules I should know about?

All attendees are expected to participate in a way that helps maintain the space, shows courtesy toward fellow attendees, and upholds the overall respectful reputation of Suzie Explores. We ask that all participants remain sober during the sessions. Please see the terms and conditions page for full details. 

Should I get travel insurance?

Due to our strict cancellation policy, we strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance. Furthermore, we also strongly suggest that any registrant who plans to bring a musical instrument purchase insurance specific to the coverage of their instrument, both during the Retreat and any travel they may undertake to attend the Retreat.

Can I cancel my registration?

You may cancel within 7 days for a full refund. Please see terms and conditions for the full cancellation policy. 

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. If you have additional questions regarding accessibility, please write to team@suziecollier.com.

Is there a maximum number of participants?

There is a maximum of 50 participants. If you are not successful in securing a spot during this retreat, we encourage you to register for one in the future!
