Retreat Terms and Conditions
Registration: Your decision to register for the Retreat with Suzie Collier constitutes your acknowledgement of, and consent to all the registration, payment and cancellation terms and conditions listed below.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale, deny admission or remove from an event, any person for reasons including, but not limited to: any harm or potential harm that person might cause, violation of the law, threats, disorderly behavior, failure to make timely payment, illegal activity, or for any other reason that is not prohibited by law.
Cancellation: You may cancel your reservation at any time within the first 7 days for a full refund (minus any applied transactional fees). After the initial 7-day window there will be No Refunds.
We reserve the right to re-schedule or cancel any event should there be an "Act of God" or occurrence outside our control which makes holding the scheduled retreat unsafe or impractical (such as pandemic, natural disaster, earthquake, or any civil unrest which would put our participants βat risk.β) We will make every effort to reschedule the retreat. In the event of such an occurrence, you will be credited 540 GBP, which may be used towards the rescheduled date, or at a future retreat within 3 years of the original retreat date. Expenses related to the retreat including any transactional fees, travel and lodging costs are excluded from the credit.
Photo Release: We reserve the right to use photos and videos taken during the Retreat. This may include images or videos of attendees, potentially to be used for social media and marketing purposes. The registrant may at their request, withdraw their consent to be photographed Per Art. 7 lin. 3) GDPR, and we will dispose of such relevant photos of the registrant accordingly.
General Liability Release: I hereby release Suzie Collier, her employees, team, vendors, and all associated entities, from all claims, liabilities, loss to property, damages, injuries, etc. arising out of or in connection with my purchase and/or participation in any aspect of the Retreat.
Registrants participate in the Retreat at their own risk. They bear sole civil and criminal liability for all damages caused by them. They agree to waive any claims for damages of any kind arising in connection with the event, and with Suzie Collier, her affiliates, and the other participants.
The liability waiver does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or to other damages which are caused by willful or grossly negligent breach of duty, as well as not to damages resulting from a breach of an essential contractual obligation by the waived group of persons.
In the event of damage resulting from a moderately negligent breach of contractual obligations, the liability for property and property damage shall be limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
The waiver of liability applies to claims arising from any legal grounds, in particular for claims for damages arising out of contractual and extra-contractual liability.
Indemnification: If anyone brings a claim against us related to your attendance at the Retreat, or your violation of these Terms, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold Suzie Collier and her affiliates, event providers, suppliers, advertisers and sponsors, and each of our officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs). We reserve the right to take exclusive control and defense of any claim, and you will cooperate fully with us in asserting any available defenses.
Privacy Policy: The personal data provided by you in the entry form will be electronically registered and saved by us to implement the participant contract. The legal basis for the collection and storage and forwarding of this data is Art. 6 I lin. b) GDPR. The data is stored by us within the legal retention periods. I hereby agree to the storage, transmission, and processing of my personal data considering the EU data protection regulation. At any time, I have the option of receiving information from the data protection officer regarding this data and/or exercising my right of objection.
You have the right to request information about the data stored about you and to request a copy for this purpose. You can also request the erasure, rectification or, in certain cases, the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If you request the erasure of your data, we will comply with your request as soon as possible, unless statutory retention periods or other legal requirements preclude erasure. In any event, we will delete your data if either the specified purposes have been fulfilled or eliminated and there are no legal retention periods or other legal requirements preclude erasure.
